I love... the fall, the changing colors, cold breezes.
I love... nice and warm blankets, candles around the house, overall cosiness.
I love... pumpkin recipes, cherry pie, afternoon tea.

Went to the Netherlands last weekend. We went to Schiermonnikoog, one of the islands way up north. No cars allowed, so we rented bikes. The beach we visited was beautiful and the food afterwards was delicious!

Gent: cafe labath and OR coffee bar

Cafe labath had many different ways of filtering coffee such as slow press coffee. The bf tried "the bunny", a slow press methode. I can't handle the caffeine so I went for a decaf latte macchiato, which was divine. The smell, the taste... Also the ambiance, the barista's art work... Too good for words.

OR coffee bar wasn't my favorite. It is a chain you can apparently find in the "larger" cities in Belgium. The coffee looked nice, but the taste wasn't as good as cafe labath. The ambiance was nice though. Lot's of stylish people and lot's of windows. A big + if you love to "people watch" as I do.

Lina - it was a lemonade made of Sprite (I think, definitely a soda-ish lemony thing), lot's of mint and lemon. It was delicious!!

Lot's of studying (not pictured), lot's of picnics, loads of fun and lot's of jummie food. Bye bye summer, and hello new school year!

Favorites from our trip to Budapest (and Balaton lake). I never thought I would like it as much as I did. The city, the food (!!), the evening strolls, the museums and the beautiful lake. Going through the pictures makes me all happy again. I'm in need of a new trip!
